Product description:Colorless crystals. Soluble in water. Slightly soluble in alcohol. Hardly soluble in ether. Insoluble in acetone.Nature there are no free cellobiose, available in the ethanol aqueous solution of fine crystallization cellobiose () after the vacuum drying, melting point 225 ℃ (decomposition). Its relationship with the fiber as well as the relationship between the maltose and starch, hydrolysis also get two molecules of D - (+) - glucose, the difference is maltose as alpha glucoside, and cellobiose as beta glucoside.
