Product description:Chloroxine is a dermatological agent,used in the treatment of dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp.chloroxine is available only with your doctor's prescription.Capitrol is an antibacterial cream shampoo containing 2% chloroxine (each gram contains 20 mg chloroxine) suspended in a base of sodium octoxynol-3 sulfonate, PEG-6 lauramide, dextrin, stearyl alcohol/ceteareth-20, sodium lauryl sulfoacetate, dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate, magnesium aluminum silicate, PEG-14M, EDTA, citric acid, water, color, fragrance and 1% benzyl alcohol. The pH of the shampoo is 7.0.
Chloroxine is a synthetic antibacterial compound that is effective in the treatment of dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis when incorporated in shampoos.
