Product Overview

Floxuridine is a fluorinated pyrimidine antimetabolite, chemically known as 2′-deoxy-5-fluorouridine. It interferes with DNA synthesis by inhibiting thymidylate synthase, leading to cell death in rapidly dividing tumor cells. It is mainly used in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers metastatic to the liver through intra-arterial infusion.
