Product description:Red brown crystalline powder. Easy to moisture absorption. Soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. 210 ℃ decomposition. Maximum absorption wavelength of 580 nm. Xylenol orange as the indicator, often with a 0.2% aqueous solution used, pH > 6.3, red; PH < 6.3, it shows yellow; Ph = pka = 6.3, rendering the middle color. Xylenol orange and metal ion complexes are formed by the red purple, so it only applies to the pH < 6 in acidic solution.Used as a ph indicator and the determination of bismuth, thorium, lead, cobalt, copper, iron, aluminum complex indicator.
