Used as a fat, oil, wax, resin and solvents, extracting agent of dyes, spices, resin and rubber and other intermediates, agricultural pesticides, fumigants and the raw material of synthesis of 1, 1-2 vinyl chloride. Used in the production of vinylidene chloride. Also used as cellulose acetate, chlorinated rubber, natural rubber solvent. 2. Used as a solvent for organic synthesis.
