With pyridine odor and irritating bitter, soluble in water, alcohol, ether and benzene. When the ring of carbon atoms have a substituent, boiling point and melting point increase; When substituents on nitrogen atom, the boiling point and melting point is reduced. Prone to chloride, bromide, iodide, alkylation and acylation reaction. Formula for C3H4N2, pyrazole swallowed toxic, can irritate the eyes, skin and respiratory tract.
