Product description:Antithyroid drugs. Its mechanism of action is inhibition of the thyroid peroxidase, thereby blocking the tyrosine iodide and iodine in the thyroid tyrosine condensation, thus inhibiting the synthesis of thyroid hormone. Out at the same time, the suppression of T4 in the tissues to T3, make strong activity in serum T3 content rapidly reduced.Used for various types of hyperthyroidism, especially suitable for: 1. The illness is lighter, thyroid patients with mild to moderate swelling; 2. Teenagers and children, and elderly patients; 3. Recurrence after thyroid surgery, and is not suitable for radioactive 131 I treatment; 4. Before the operation; 5. As an aid in the treatment of 131 I radiotherapy.
