Melting point - 1-18 ℃, boiling point of 154-155 ℃ insoluble in water, can be hydrolyzed with bases to form perfluorinated octyl sulfonate (such as potassium, etc.), but with acid hydrolysis.The important intermediates used in the preparation of special surfactants containing fluorine, use it can synthesize a series of fluorocarbon surfactant.
