Soluble in ethanol, insoluble in water.Adding p-toluene sulfonic acid octyl alcohol and anisaldehyde, malonic acid, a mixture of pyridine, after esterification reaction, neutralization, dehydration, azeotropic distillation, refined and the goods.To make sunscreen (cream, milk, liquid), and other skin care cosmetics, can effectively absorb the ultraviolet ray in sunshine, prevent the skin bask in red, ink, sunburn, and light dermatitis of drug treatment. In industry can be used as plastics, printing ink anti-aging agent and ultraviolet absorbent.
