Product description:By aniline and sodium nitrite diazotization and coupling with dimethyl aniline. Add the aniline slowly have crushed ice in concentrated hydrochloric acid, at 0-5 ℃ plus a diazotization reaction of sodium nitrite solution. Then adding dimethyl aniline diazonium salt, control temperature below 5 ℃, stirring side to join the industrial sodium acetate, stirring after 3 h plus a small amount of sodium acetate, filter out yellow precipitate for a quick crude products. With toluene recrystallization after dry, reoccupy alcohol recrystallization quick finished product dimethyl yellow.Used as a ph indicator, nonaqueous solution titration indicator and the determination of free hydrochloric acid in gastric juice.
