Product description:Soluble in ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, glycerin, insoluble in water. Soluble in alcohol, ether, benzene, toluene, etc. With three alumina produces benzoic acid and acetic acid, can generate function of sodium in ethanol and ethyl phenyl methanol, and zinc hydrochloric acid or hydrogen (nickel) function to generate propyl benzene. This product is mainly used for making cholagogue medicine cholagogue alcohol, antiepileptic drugs .Used for synthesis of enemy rat sodium pesticide intermediates, such as amphetamine, phenyl isopropyl amine such as pharmaceutical intermediates.
