Sometimes goods lauric acid ethyl ester is mixed ester. Octylic acid (C8), decanoic acid (C10), (C12) lauric acid, myristic acid (C14), palmitic acid (C16) exists in the form of triglycerides in coconut oil, including lauric acid glyceride content for 45-51%. In the presence of sulfuric acid, ethanol and coconut oleic acid glyceride ester exchange reaction, can get lauric acid ethyl ester, which is used to make perfume fragrance, flavor, edible flavor soap.
