Product description:A peppermint odor colorless oily liquid, ring heptyl ketone via pimelic acid nitric acid oxidation can be obtained, by nickel in 175 ℃ catalytic hydrogenation or use sodium reduction in boiling ethanol ring heptanol, in carbon tetrachloride and bromine reaction 2, 7 - dibromo ring heptyl ketone. Lab usually adopted preparation method is to adipic acid with lime distillation, or in a vacuum by acid zinc and magnesium salt heating at 400 ℃.Used in organic synthesis, through oximation can ring heptyl ketoxime. Used as a solvent for belladonna ketone and organic synthesis. Used as intermediates in organic synthesis, and used in the study of chemistry.
