This product to dissolve in water or ethanol, slightly dissolved in chloroform, hardly soluble in ether.Clonidine hydrochloride directly excited the hypothalamus and medulla central postsynaptic membrane receptor alpha 2, exciting inhibitory neurons, reduce the central sympathetic efferent nerve impulses, thus inhibiting peripheral sympathetic nervous activity. Clonidine also excited peripheral sympathetic nerve presynaptic membrane receptor alpha 2, enhance its negative feedback effect, reduce the peripheral nerve release norepinephrine, reduce the peripheral vascular and renal vascular resistance, slow heart rate, lower blood pressure. Renal blood flow and glomerular filtration rate basic remain unchanged. Orthostatic symptoms lighter or a rare, rare orthostatic hypotension.
