Product description:Colorless cubic crystal or white powder, toxic, density 3.24 g/cm 3, slightly hygroscopic, soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. Liberate oxygen in heat of the night, and have strong oxidizing, contact with sulfur, phosphorus, organic matter, friction or collision can cause the combustion or explosion. Melting point 592 ℃, no matter how high the decomposition temperature. The burning flame to be green. Used as oxidant, analytical reagent. For making barium salt, flares and fireworks, also used in ceramic glaze, medicine, etc. Made by nitric acid with barium hydroxide reaction.
