Soluble in dilute acid or alkali solution, soluble in hot ethanol and 50% acetone.Used as feed additives for the control of Staphylococcus aureus and hemolytic streptococcus infection, that is the main treatment of fowl cholera, fowl typhoid, coccidiosis in chickens and so on.
